*This position operates on the 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, from 5:50 AM to 2:30 PM, transitioning to 2nd Shift in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

The following duties are essential to the role, along with any additional responsibilities that may be assigned:

  • Setup and operation of thermoforming and vacuum forming machinery
  • Calculation of cycle times
  • Programming of machines for automated processes
  • Management of tooling setup, operation, and maintenance
  • Production of quality parts with minimal defects
  • Trimming of fixtures for benchtop finishing
  • Guiding and assisting team members to achieve high performance
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally 5 years or more, with the following equipment:
    • Single Station
    • Rotary
    • Pressure Forming
  • Proficiency in machine setup for production
  • Experience with various tooling for part formation
  • Familiarity with materials used in aircraft interiors, automotive components, and commercial products
  • Ability to identify different material types, colors, and textures, including:
    • Boltaron
    • Kydex
    • Polycarbonate
    • ABS
    • Styrene
  • Capability to read and interpret job instruction packets and make necessary edits
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles
  • Experience working within a high-level quality system (AS9100D)
  • Knowledge of various trimming methods for formed parts
