Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing manual and mechanical duties to assist in the operations of various equipment and tools in the fabrication and assembly of foam and/or plastic containers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tools and equipment to perform fabrications and assembly operations
• Pick parts and supplies from inventory and as instructed
• Assist in setup and operate cutting, drilling, saws, glue applicators, assembly tools, drill presses, hand tools
• Cut stock to proper dimensions and tolerances as instructed
• Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations as instructed
• Perform required masking and painting
• Review product specifications on simple jobs
• Perform required tests, visual inspections, dimension checks
• Detect any out of specification condition and notify a supervisor or manager

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 20-30lbs
• Potentially loud work environment
