WHAT WILL MY RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

This position will involve the following key tasks:

  • Promoting and setting up display modules and special offers
  • Responding to incoming calls and assisting customers professionally
  • Collaborating with other store and warehouse team members on various tasks
  • Restocking merchandise and assisting with inventory management
  • Potential training and certification for forklift operation and propane filling (age permitting)
  • Ensuring safety in accordance with cooperative guidelines

Work Environment:

  • This role will involve both indoor store work and outdoor tasks to assist with customer needs such as deliveries and pickups.

For this role, we prefer candidates who possess:

  • No specific educational or professional experience requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays as scheduled
  • Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment with customer service and point of sale operations
  • Preferred knowledge or experience in farming, agriculture, animal health, or related fields
  • A passion for assisting cooperative customers in overcoming challenges
  • Ability to focus and work safely while operating equipment and assisting customers
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • A talent for building relationships and problem-solving
  • A desire to learn and collaborate with other divisions within EverGRO
