Exterminating Team Lead

Job Summary:
Pest-X Exterminating is seeking an experienced Termite Department Crew Leader to join our team. As a key member of our pest control team, you will be responsible for leading a crew of technicians in performing termite treatments, encapsulation services, and other related work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate and direct the activities of technicians at job sites, ensuring adherence to company, state, and label guidelines and protocols.
- Provide ongoing training and technical assistance to crew members.
- Ensure service trucks are fully equipped and supplied for each job site, and maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
- Communicate crew deficiencies, training needs, and job performances to superiors.
- Manage workflow, record keeping, tools, and vehicle maintenance.
- Verify all jobs are completed in a timely manner, and ensure each completed job site is left in a clean manner.
- Perform all job tasks required to complete work.
- Drive company work vehicles and maintain an "A" safety score.
- Follow company, label, and state safety standards, and ensure crew members comply.
- Collaborate with office scheduler and supervisor to update progress and inform of any delays or open time for fill-in work.
- Ensure all work breaks are taken by crew members each day.
- Update and complete paperwork and work orders in software accurately and timely.
- Communicate with customers before and after services, and ensure their satisfaction with work performed.
- Perform other work as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education and Experience:
Candidates with a background in construction, landscaping, restoration work, or waterproofing are preferred. This position requires 1+ years of experience working in a wood destroying department or equivalent.
Must have at least 6 months of prior termite control supervisory experience or 1+ years of general field-related supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to motivate others to complete work assignments in a timely and professional manner. The ability to provide training and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required. Must be familiar with cell phones, tablets, apps, and technology in general.

Work Environment/Conditions:
In the performance of the job duties, the employee will work in a variety of environments, including construction sites and foundation areas in and around a house. This position will primarily work outside in all types of weather conditions and environments, such as but not limited to, possible tight and low areas under a house in a crawl space, and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the environment can be loud at times.
Physical Demand (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):
The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50+ pounds of supplies and frequently work safely with pesticides. Drilling with industrial hammer drills through concrete, power augers, and digging and trenching soil with shovels and/or mattocks is frequent.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, see, and smell.
