Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and healthcare teams in delivering compassionate care to our millions of patients every day. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate filling of patient prescriptions.

• Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements
• Build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise by leveraging available tools and training

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must be at least 16 years of age (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement)
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement)
• Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
• Customer Service Orientation: actively look for ways to help people and do so in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
