Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our Advanced Structures team in Fort Worth. As a key member of our team, you will participate in LEAN Manufacturing Events and contribute to Visual Management & Control, Layout, Flow & Linkage, and Standard Work relating to Franchise Approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in LEAN Manufacturing Events and contribute to process improvements
  • Gain experience in leading the coordination of production and engineering support
  • Develop and implement production processes and layouts across the global network
  • Manage medium to large-scale projects from initial concept to full implementation
  • Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization

What You Will Learn:

  • Application of state-of-the-art technology, methods, equipment, waste disposal processes, and utilities
  • How to support Process Improvement teams and Process Improvement philosophy
  • Effective collaboration with peers in operations, engineering, and service center staff
  • Gain experience in drafting and executing CAPEX spending plans and tracking tools

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with CAD or model-based software
  • Experience with data analytics and data visualization
