Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our Life Flight team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks on our fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft, ensuring they are airworthy and meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of components
  • Coordinate and complete scheduled maintenance and inspections in a timely manner
  • Document and maintain accurate records of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Assist in the transport of equipment and supplies, including medical equipment and controlled substances
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and new developments in the aviation field
Requirements
  • Current Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license
  • Demonstrated aviation maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and respective turbine engines
  • Preferred qualifications include multiple aircraft qualified with factory training on fixed wing and helicopter, structural sheet metal experience, and advanced troubleshooting training/experience
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to interact with others, verbally communicate, and hear and understand spoken language. Additionally, the employee must be able to lift and transport aviation parts and equipment, push or pull portable equipment, and stand or sit for extended periods.
