Corporate Paralegal Job Description

Vaco is partnering with a leading international company to find a skilled Corporate Paralegal to support their Legal Department.

This role involves conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing documents, assisting in policy creation and revision, and handling company forms. The successful candidate will be involved in patents, contracts, and purchasing agreements.

This is a direct hire position, located on-site in Los Angeles near LAX. The working hours are Monday to Thursday in the office and Friday working from home. The working hours are 8:30am-5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with and assist the General Counsel across corporate practice areas.
  • Aid attorneys with litigation support tasks.
  • Maintain communication with external counsel to update litigation logs and reserve data.
  • Conduct research on regulations, legal literature, court decisions, and other legal resources; provide analytical reports to attorneys.
  • Generate documents for corporate policy development and implementation.
  • Potentially draft and negotiate contracts, including confidentiality agreements and other contractual documents.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives alongside the Legal team.
  • Exercise discretion and uphold strict confidentiality.
  • Fulfill other duties as directed by the General Counsel.
Requirements:
  • Paralegal certificate mandatory, along with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
