Cytotechnologist - Integrated Lab - St. Vincent Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in detecting precancerous, malignant, and infectious conditions by examining cells under a microscope.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures on patients of all ages according to established protocols.
- Provide patient clinical data or microscopic findings to assist pathologists in the preparation of pathology reports.
- Classify and distinguish abnormal cell structures and report abnormalities to pathologists for further examination.
- Document data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into the hospital system for patient records.
- Monitor inventory of supplies, equipment, and reagents used, and place orders for replacements as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science: Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Laboratory Sciences.
- Completion of Cytotechnology Program.
- Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification by a nationally recognized certification agency.
- Three years of Clinical Lab experience preferred.
