About the Role

Rainbo Oil Company is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our team in the Dubuque or Quad Cities Area. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering relationships with customers, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and exceed targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Wholesale to develop pricing strategies and communicate with customers
  • Coach and develop the sales team to implement innovative sales strategies and optimize the use of our current sales platform
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year school (university or college) preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial, PCO, and industrial lubricant sales
  • 3+ years of sales management experience
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to discuss and negotiate on a range of oral and written topics
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers
  • Ability to calculate interest, discounts, mark-ups, commissions, and profit/loss
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach
  • Ability to push, lift, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to travel within the region
