Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is integral to our production operations, focusing on the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of customized point-of-sale (POS) systems. As part of our team, you will be responsible for building new POS terminals, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly and prep of customized computer components
  • Wiring of various cable assemblies
  • Testing and/or calibration of parts and assemblies, both electrical and mechanical
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair work on electro-mechanical assemblies and circuit boards, both new production builds and RMA returns diagnostic work
  • Packaging and shipping of component assemblies and fully built POS terminal systems
  • Support effective inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and distributing materials to ensure efficient workflow and pulling inventory based on bill of materials (BOM) requirements
  • Receiving and proper check-in of returned components
  • General stock room maintenance
  • Programming of PROM devices
  • Loading and configuring Windows OS onto OEM self-serve systems
