Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Dining Services to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day food service operations of a medium to large volume location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Chef and management team to create nutritious and top-quality food options for our customers.
  • Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage, train, and develop a team of associates to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our operations team.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of food service management experience, preferably in a high-volume dining environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of associates.
  • Financial experience and business acumen skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as hospitality, food service management, or a related field.
