About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Coordinator to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the nursing department, professional standards of nursing, applicable Federal and State laws, state nursing practice guidelines, and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure the highest quality of care for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric.
  • Assure safe, efficient operation of the clinical department(s) to ensure a smooth operation, including performance improvement activities, quality care, proper documentation to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Monitor productivity and financial measures within the unit operations.
  • Develop, review, and revise policies and procedures in conjunction with the nursing practice council.
  • Participate as a full, collaborative member of the nursing leadership council with other coordinators by participating in staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Mentor new staff directly, model positive and professional behavior, and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, co-workers, and other departments to provide consistent care based on the changing physical, medical, and psych-social needs unique to each patient.
  • Provide feedback in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in State of North Dakota (ND).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC.
  • Computer skills preferred.
