We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Unit as a Full Time Night Shift Nurse. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including surgical and non-surgical patients.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in orthopedic nursing.
- Additional certifications may be required, such as ACLS or NRP, depending on the unit and patient population.
