Job Overview

The Medical Technologist I is a key member of our laboratory team, responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures to support the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric, adult, and prenatal conditions.

Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities, and our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care across the pediatric spectrum.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory testing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing and procedures in any/all areas of the laboratory
  • Report timely and accurate test results
  • Ensure quality control is acceptable and instrumentation is functioning and maintained within defined tolerance limits
  • Document all laboratory functions according to standard operating procedures and guidelines established by regulatory agencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
  • Medical Technologist/Scientist Certification ASCP or equivalent, or certification required within 6 months of eligibility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
