Job Overview

The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory testing and procedures in designated areas of the laboratory while receiving direction as needed from team members for the reporting of timely and accurate test results.

The Laboratory Technologist within the Precision Diagnostics clinical laboratory will be responsible for supporting clinical genomics testing within a pediatric setting.

The successful candidate is expected to effectively support operational testing, including nucleic acid extraction, PCR, fragment, sequencing, and analysis.

The Laboratory Technologist will prepare reagents and/or specimens for testing and process specimens in accordance with the laboratory's standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with high attention to detail is required.

We're seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team of professionally trained experts in genetics, medical technology, data, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform laboratory testing and procedures in designated areas of the laboratory.
  2. Support clinical genomics testing within a pediatric setting.
  3. Prepare reagents and/or specimens for testing and process specimens in accordance with the laboratory's standard operating procedures (SOPs).
