Job Title: Warehouse Manager

ROCKWOOL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Ranson, WV. As a key member of our Transportation and Warehousing team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective storage, distribution, and delivery of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of warehouse supervisors to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensure compliance with safety standards, and implement best practices to optimize workflow.
  • Oversee the warehouse team to deliver high-quality products on time, while maintaining accurate inventory levels within budgeted headcounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing timely and accurate order fulfillment and addressing customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Own budget responsibilities for the warehouse department and deliver volumes within available budget while improving cost efficiencies.
  • Schedule and manage the workforce to ensure optimal staffing levels and lowest overall cost.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse and supply chain through effective problem-solving and priority setting.
  • Document failures and inefficiencies in the supply chain and lead root cause analysis events to improve overall supply chain effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or Supply Chain required.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a distribution, shipping, or warehouse setting in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Previous inventory management experience required.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and sound understanding of lean principles.
  • Ability to grow and develop the team through coaching, performance management, and sharing knowledge and experience.
