Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized speech therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, and reading
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and OTs, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, safety practices, and self-care techniques
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and active SLP license in Arizona
  • Minimum of one (1) year of speech therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
