Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neurorehabilitation. As a key member of our team, you will provide functional rehabilitation services to individuals with complex neurological diagnoses in their natural home and community environment.
About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for performing evaluations and developing treatment plans to help patients regain functional capabilities. You will work collaboratively with our team of dynamic therapists to provide care in the home, community, workplace, or school. Your expertise will be essential in promoting greater health through the recovery process and improving functional skills and independence for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to help patients regain functional capabilities
- Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences
- Perform discharge evaluations and make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety
- Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
- Current CPR Certification
- A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist
