Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Dosimetrist to join our team at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. This is a hybrid position that requires a strong understanding of radiation therapy and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities- Design treatment plans using input from films and contours taken during simulation and CT scans.
- Calculate treatment time for approved plans and interact with technologists to ensure accurate delivery of plans.
- Perform brachytherapy treatment planning and assist in the insertion and removal of sources.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on treatment planning systems and treatment machines.
- Participate in clinical teaching and exemplify excellent Guest and Staff Relations.
- Bachelor's degree and completion of a Dosimetrist Program.
- 5-7 years' experience as a radiation therapist or completion of dosimetry program.
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist preferred.
- Proton experience preferred.
