Position Overview
The Mortgage Servicing Quality Control Administrator plays a vital role in administering a comprehensive Mortgage Servicing Quality Control (MSQC) program that aligns with agency and investor standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough MSQC program encompassing loan setup, escrow management, insurance, accounting/payment processing, default management, and compliance matters.
  • Ensure the Bank's MSQC Plan and Policy are current and compliant with agency requirements by monitoring regulatory changes.
  • Design QC reviews, develop scopes and samples, and prepare reports.
  • Stay informed about Freddie Mac, Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, and Fannie Mae MSQC guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain MSQC procedures that minimize operational disruption and enhance customer experience.
  • Conduct regular mortgage servicing audits within designated timeframes.
  • Identify and report defects, collaborating with the Mortgage Servicing Department for corrective actions.
  • Escalate any indications of fraud or misrepresentation to management.
  • Track and follow up on MSQC findings as necessary.
  • Prepare monthly management reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with external MSQC audits from investors and agencies.
  • Adhere to all laws, regulations, and bank policies related to mortgage servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory issues such as Fair Lending and Equal Housing laws.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with 3-5 years of experience in Mortgage Servicing or Mortgage Servicing Quality Control, is required. This position will transition to a hybrid model after the initial training period.
