As a seasoned attorney, the Senior Legal Counsel acts as a specialist in matters related to personnel, public contracts, and the legal frameworks governing the administration of child support services and state governance in California. Furthermore, the Senior Legal Counsel undertakes complex and sensitive legal assignments that require the application of sophisticated legal principles. This role necessitates extensive interaction with staff and stakeholders from the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS), including local child support agencies (LCSA).If this aligns with your career aspirations, we encourage you to explore this role further.
Work Environment
The DCSS fosters a diverse and family-oriented workplace. The main office is conveniently located, offering free parking and proximity to various amenities. Occasional travel to off-site meetings, conferences, or training sessions may be required.
