AECOM's Legal Department is seeking a highly skilled Counsel to support our Design and Consulting Services team. As a Counsel, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's interests are protected and its objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Support: Provide legal guidance and support to the Design and Consulting Services team on various matters, including contract reviews, negotiations, and disputes.
  • Contract Management: Review and prepare business agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with business transactions, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Communication: Represent the company in judicial and administrative litigation, communicating effectively with outside law firms and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney supporting engineering, construction, and/or environmental services projects.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
