Job Title: Category Advisor - Baby Toy

Join Kids2 as a Category Advisor - Baby Toy and contribute to the success of our Baby Toy Category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic thought leadership and providing solutions to accelerate growth for our Baby Toy Category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive best-in-class category management fundamentals and elevate Consumer & Shopper Insights to build additional business and retain current customers.
  • Prepare account-specific category plans, providing unbiased analysis, interpretation, and recommendations to improve total category performance.
  • Own modular review analysis, updates, drawing, and execution process.
  • Co-own assortment and lead planogramming activities.
  • Conduct promotional analysis to deliver recommendations to optimize.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating layout center modular sets.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, reporting, store resets, and meeting assistance as requested by the Target team.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, sales, shopper insights, corporate strategy, and retailer strategy, operations, and planning.
  • Participate in store resets to improve modular update process.
  • Lead category expertise driving innovation and performance.
  • Provide regular updates regarding shopper insights and potential opportunities.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years in a Business/Category management role.
  • Experience as a Target Category Advisor or a mixture of category/product management, sales, and/or consumer insights.
  • Experience with JDA Space Planning (Blue Yonder).
  • Knowledge of Target modular planning process.
  • Analytics and data storytelling experience.
  • Consumer Product Goods (CPG) experience and/or experience in the baby/toddler industry are preferred.
Education & Skills:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and drive actionable insights.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills.
  • Lead and work in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and plan.
  • Experience strategically penetrating, persuading, and influencing internal and external touchpoints through clear, cogent, and concise communication.
Computer/Technical Skills:
  • Must be proficient in JDA Space Planning, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Work Environment:
  • In-office (3) days a week.
