Job Summary

The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Children's Hospital of Richmond is seeking a PRN Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist to provide support to the division. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be eager to participate in a busy outpatient and inpatient clinical program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Faculty member will have teaching responsibilities in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, providing mentorship to medical students, residents, and Fellows.
  • Research: Faculty member will have working knowledge in basic research methods and be able to participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
  • Service: Faculty member will serve on departmental, hospital, or School of Medicine level committees, as well as professional activities through journal review and conference presentations.
  • Clinical: Faculty member will serve as a pediatric hematologist and oncologist on a PRN basis for the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an academic medical center
