Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at Realtor. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 1,400 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update payroll records by approving self-service changes within UltiPro
  • Pull hours in Time and Attendance system, enter and validate necessary data per assigned pay groups for Bi-weekly processing
  • Process commissions, other employee incentives, and other ad-hoc payments
  • Balance bi-weekly payroll reconciliation worksheet and reports
  • Prepare various reports and queries for internal business partners and Payroll Team
  • Monitor Payroll Helpdesk for assigned tasks and employees in pay groups assigned
  • Work with HR and Benefits Teams to resolve issues related to employee pay and deductions
  • Interpret company policy in processing payroll-related transactions
  • Process Manual checks
  • Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of progressive payroll experience required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
  • UKG processing and reporting experience required
  • Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced, high-volume environment required
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws in a multi-state employment environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
  • Intermediate Excel and BI Reporting skills
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Able to handle confidential matters using sound judgement and discretion
  • Able to work effectively in a Hybrid work environment with minimal supervision
