As a Hardware Reliability Developer, you'll be responsible for building hardware-specific tools that scale systems through automation and evolve ServiceNow's infrastructure by pushing for changes that improve reliability and ensure optimal performance of the hardware that powers our Enterprise Cloud.

We work closely with our external hardware partners to develop and creative solutions that enable us to achieve our high level of reliability.

Excellent communication skills with an appreciation for feedback are critical for success in this role.

In addition to automation development, you'll be responsible for helping build our internal knowledge base by creating and maintaining documentation regarding all things hardware.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration or networking
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise-class server systems, including remote access management devices and firmware management
  • 2+ years of experience with shell scripting and Python, including programming against RESTful APIs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science, or related field
  • Ability to extrapolate patterns from datasets and build reports that illustrate trends
  • Excellent communication, conflict management, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using the ServiceNow platform or ITIL Process and Change Management
  • Experience working in or with operations teams to help develop solutions cross-team
  • Proficiency using version control systems such as Git, SVN, etc

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay of $121,600 - $188,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
