Job Summary:
Amentum is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support a facilities infrastructure program. The successful candidate will analyze and modernize mechanical infrastructure, working in an office and field environment with a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Energy Management Control System (EMCS) data to assess building loads and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Install and maintain temporary metering for facilities to ensure accurate energy usage tracking.
- Coordinate surveys and inspections of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Produce detailed mechanical baseline and capacity reports for Department of Defense facilities, providing valuable insights for infrastructure planning.
- Collect and analyze critical infrastructure information to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph.
- E.I.T. Certification or P.E. License is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in mechanical load analysis or chilled water system design is essential.
