Job Overview:

The Banquet Setup Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless preparation, execution, and maintenance of all event spaces within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all operational standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate setup for all Banquet Event Orders.
  • Uphold the highest cleanliness and sanitation standards across all banquet areas, including pre-function spaces and storage.
  • Maintain an organized banquet storeroom, ensuring all necessary supplies for meetings and food services are readily available.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and fire safety equipment, complying with all hotel safety protocols.
  • Efficiently dismantle setups post-event, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
  • Report any safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or related fields is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.
  • Quickly assess and choose the best course of action in various situations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in high-stress environments.
