Position: Regulatory Compliance Accountant
Wedbush Securities, a prominent investment banking and securities firm, is in search of a skilled individual to take on the role of Regulatory Compliance Accountant. This position will report to the Assistant Vice President of Regulatory Reporting and will be tasked with a variety of financial reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct computations for customer/PAB reserves (15c3-3)
  • Compile net capital calculations (15c3-1) and FOCUS reports
  • Generate daily and monthly reports to facilitate regulatory and accounting functions
  • Support internal and external audits as well as regulatory assessments
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to reconcile financial information
  • Execute general accounting tasks including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Address ad hoc requests as necessary
  • Complete additional assigned duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the financial services sector is preferred
  • Familiarity with FINRA SIE & Series 99 is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
