Job Summary

The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of professionals to design and implement data-driven solutions, detect and address complex business challenges, and develop innovative alternatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and enhancement of a shared enterprise data environment that meets diverse Analytics, Reporting, and Data Science federal requirements.
  • Engage with clients to gather complex business data requirements through various information gathering techniques.
  • Lead design reviews of data deliverables, including models, data flows, and data quality assessment, and promote data modeling standardization.
  • Analyze requirements in relation to available data, assess source system data quality, and analyze schemas to meet performance requirements.
  • Design and maintain a master data management strategy that accounts for data ownership, security, and administration.
  • Oversee database administration and engineering to align with a data-as-a-service approach.
  • Ensure high-quality data deliverable artifacts, including documentation and technical design.
  • Support the proposal response process, from solutioning to proposal writing and code challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience developing enterprise data warehouse/lake solutions.
  • 5 years of experience with SDLC methodology and Agile project management, and working with the Federal Government.
  • Broad knowledge across the analytics lifecycle, including data engineering, databases, governance, and end-user workflows.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data science/machine learning concepts and experience working with data scientists.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Agile framework and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
  • AWS Certification preferred.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public trust security clearance.
