Job Title: Data Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Arena Technical Resources, LLC. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise data warehouse components, including data marts, operational data stores, staging, and archival databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design enterprise data warehouse components, including data marts, operational data stores, staging, and archival databases.
  • Develop and maintain a metadata repository.
  • Work with large enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
  • Build star schemas, Type I and Type II dimensions, facts to dimensions matrices.
  • Develop and maintain a metadata repository.
  • Work with at least one major RDBMS platform (DB2, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience with architecting, designing, and developing enterprise data warehouse components.
  • Extensive experience building star schemas, Type I and Type II dimensions, facts to dimensions matrices.
  • Extensive knowledge in dimensional modeling concepts.
  • Extensive experience in building conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining a metadata repository.
  • Extensive experience in at least one major RDBMS platform (DB2, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using data modeling tools, preferably ERWin and/or TOAD Data Modeler.
  • Candidate having an understanding of ETL tools, preferably Informatica.
  • Prior work experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation is preferred.
