Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Brookdale Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring wellness and recreation programs to meet the specific needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs that promote social interaction, engagement, and overall well-being among residents.
  • Collaborate with community leadership team to ensure alignment with Brookdale's Engagement 3.0 philosophy.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on engagement and quality of life for residents.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to support program activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • At least one year of direct experience working with adults, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Leadership experience and a degree in a related field (therapeutic recreation, gerontology, healthcare, education, or other related field) are preferred.
