Key Responsibilities- Perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks, including preparing and labeling medications
- Assist pharmacists with patient care functions, such as medication counseling and education
- Provide technical support to pharmacy staff, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with pharmacy equipment and software
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college courses in pharmacy or a related field desirable
- Must be certified as a pharmacy technician in the state of Maryland
- At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or currently enrolled in a pharmacy or medical school program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
