Access Services is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Support team member to join our Starting Point Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation program in Montgomery County. As a Practitioner, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with mental illness to pursue their goals using the Psych Rehab model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build rapport and effectively engage with individuals to understand their strengths, needs, and barriers.
  • Drive to and meet with individuals in their homes and community locations to provide support and guidance.
  • Develop, implement, update, and review treatment plans that are recovery-oriented, strengths-based, and person-centered.
  • Collaborate with individuals to develop strategies for identifying, achieving, and maintaining goals in four key areas: living, learning, working, and socializing.
  • Connect individuals to resources and supports in the community to aid in their recovery journey.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) in a related field such as psychology, social work, or human services.
  • Some prior work or internship experience related to mental health services is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with 2+ years of driving experience, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.
  • Willingness to drive throughout the county during the workday to meet with clients and transport them as needed.

  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $20.00, with rates negotiated by education and related work experience.
