Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise plant mechanical and electrical technicians and outside labor force
  • Schedule maintenance tasks and PM programs
  • Ensure plant equipment meets OSHA regulations
  • Provide consistent positive leadership to achieve required results
  • Delegate work assignments to technicians
  • Identify maintenance problems and apply solutions
  • Alert management and production departments to any problems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years relevant experience; four years supervisory experience preferred
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem analysis and decision-making skills
  • Interpersonal skills and patience
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machinery
  • Working knowledge of electricity and mechanics
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and OSHA regulations
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work in hot and humid environments
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Must be able to work in areas with wheat flour dust or other food ingredients
  • Must be able to work in loud/high noise volume areas
