We are a leading organization in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis, and we're seeking an exceptional Director to join our team. As Director of Strategic Foundation Partnerships, you will play a critical role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with national and global foundations to drive sustained 6-7 figure giving.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in foundation relations and strategic partnership development to advance our mission. About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 6+ years of progressive fundraising experience, a proven track record of closing grants and gifts at the 6-figure+ level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to analyze data to uncover foundation prospects, articulate a compelling case for support, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of 75-100 donors, prospect new business, and build a pipeline of qualified donors in the 6-7 figure range.
  2. Develop relationships, set and activate solicitation strategies, including writing complex and nuanced proposals.
  3. Serve as relationship lead to national and global public, private, and corporate foundations, identifying specific interests and deepen their connection to our organization.
  4. Collaborate with Individual Giving Staff, Corporate Engagement staff, market leaders, executive staff, and volunteers to strategize solicitation and drive key functions of the operational plan to achieve targeted revenue goals.
  5. Establish relationship management teams for high-capacity relationships within the portfolio and deploy teams as appropriate to engage foundation leaders and decision makers.
  6. Leverage national donor cultivation and stewardship opportunities to increase meaningful interactions with foundations.
