Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including facilities managers, architects, designers, general contractors, and property managers.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest flooring products and technologies, and provide expert advice to customers on selection and installation.
  • Sales and Marketing: Identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Project Management: Work with customers to understand their project requirements and provide turn-key commercial floor covering services, including budgeting, estimating, and project coordination.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in channel distribution sales, outside B2B sales, or commercial floor installation.
  • Skills: Strong math skills, ability to read and comprehend blueprints, and valid driver's license.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including attendance at industry and trade shows.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial flooring industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex information to customers and stakeholders.
