  • Supporting Deans and faculty in utilizing the university's learning management system effectively.
  • Facilitating the development and review of academic programs across various departments.
  • Participating in and coordinating curriculum and faculty-focused meetings.
  • Collaborating with faculty and bookstore personnel to ensure the accuracy of the Master Book List and the timely availability of course materials.
  • Creating and managing agreements for faculty course development.
  • Contributing to the Quality Enhancement Plan through targeted curriculum initiatives.
  • Working with faculty and subject matter experts to refresh course materials, including textbooks and syllabi.
  • Monitoring the creation and updates of courses and associated documentation.
  • Assisting faculty with the integration of new resources and technologies.
  • Ensuring that all course materials undergo regular review for quality assurance.
  • Overseeing faculty governance of curriculum through established committees.
  • Supporting the Vice President of Academic Affairs with special projects as needed.

Daily Duties

In this role, you will:
  • Engage with stakeholders through various communication channels to discuss curriculum development and faculty training.
  • Monitor ongoing curriculum initiatives and follow up on progress.
  • Assess faculty development needs and provide appropriate training opportunities.

Weekly Responsibilities

Each week, you will:
  • Conduct meetings with faculty and Program Directors to track curriculum development progress.
  • Verify completion of faculty training and development tasks.
  • Collaborate with Deans and faculty across campuses to enhance faculty training.
  • Prepare and present summary reports for the executive team.

Monthly Responsibilities

On a monthly basis, you will:
  • Assist with course review processes and address faculty inquiries regarding course materials.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for student engagement and instructional excellence.
  • Analyze student feedback surveys to identify areas for faculty improvement.
  • Support Deans in developing effective faculty enhancement plans.
  • Ensure readiness for course delivery in the learning management system.
  • Design and implement faculty development activities to promote engagement and understanding of curriculum delivery.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new faculty on university policies and procedures.

Semesterly Responsibilities

Every semester, you will:
  • Facilitate department-specific faculty meetings.
  • Participate in Program Advisory Committee meetings.
  • Review survey results to identify curriculum improvement opportunities.
  • Follow up on feedback from faculty and PAC members.

Annual Responsibilities

Annually, you will:
  • Assist in preparing reports related to curriculum and faculty effectiveness.
  • Participate in faculty events and institutional effectiveness activities.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of academic programs and training materials for consistency and accuracy.
