Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at CBIZ. As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our provider Pharmacy survey and help desk teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various documents, including invoices, reports, memos, agendas, letters, and responses to correspondence, surveys, spreadsheets, expense reports, and presentations.
  • Perform general office duties, such as scanning/copying documents, bookmarking scanned documents, preparing mailings, and supporting the entire spectrum of staff's business needs.
  • File and maintain records management systems of provider documents, records, and reports.
  • Assist project work and check for completeness on file reviews.
  • File and retrieve documents, records, and reports.
  • Maintain security of and confidentiality of all protected health information.
  • Proof written documents.
  • Answer incoming calls and document inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot provider inquiries.
  • Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in office environment preferred.
  • 3 years' of retail or clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
  • State Pharmacy Technician licensing required.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Possess strong data entry and typing skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possess ability to quality review own work.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
  • Must be a team player who works well with a group.
