ResponsibilitiesAs a Pharmacy Order Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Entering customer orders into our order entry system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verifying customer and order information, checking for completeness and accuracy.
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the timely preparation and shipment of orders.
- Reviewing and verifying orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proficient math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of medical language and abbreviations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
