Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Directly supervise a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Maintenance and Service: Oversee the maintenance and service of all facilities and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained, repaired, and replaced as needed.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute maintenance projects, including capital projects, expense projects, and improvement modifications, to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and implement performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance team, ensuring they are meeting or exceeding established standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and ordinances, as well as company policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and leadership, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize maintenance operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, maintenance management, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a GMP environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with project management, predictive/preventive maintenance programs, and Lean initiatives, as well as knowledge of safety-related issues and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
