Woods Services: Clinician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our Assertive Community Treatment Services for Youth (Youth ACT) program in Cape May and Atlantic County. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide intensive and immediate access to treatment services in the community.

Program Overview

The Youth ACT program delivers a comprehensive range of services to youth ages 5-20 who present with significant mental health needs, challenging behaviors, and/or are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or out of home care. Our team works collaboratively to provide a safe and supportive environment for youth and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site family therapy and interact with the family and treatment team during the referral and admission process.
  • Complete Biopsychosocial (BPS) assessments, intakes, and other required assessments.
  • Develop cross-systems crisis prevention and intervention plans, comprehensive treatment and transition plans.
  • Provide direct supervision of Behavioral Assistants and implement interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment.
  • Attend and facilitate treatment team meetings, share on-call responsibilities, and provide coordinated support with program staff.
  • Prepare agendas and document outcomes for in-home sessions and ensure the coordination of treatment team meetings.
Requirements

We are seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with at least one year of experience working with youth within family systems and one year of experience working with people who have mental health and/or co-occurring behavioral health needs, including complex trauma.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with families and community partners.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and licensure.
