Fort Collins Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is excited to announce that we are expanding our team and looking for dedicated Automotive Service Consultants to join us.

As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued customers, assisting them with their vehicle maintenance requirements. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional customer service, organizational, and time management abilities. A flexible schedule is essential, as working hours will vary throughout the week. A foundational understanding of automotive systems is required.

This position offers a combination of commission and salary, with earnings reflecting your performance and experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather customer and vehicle details;
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections;
  • Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance while prioritizing their best interests;
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts;
  • Establish follow-up timelines;
  • Manage the flow of the service drive, ensuring prompt and courteous service;
  • Deliver a WORLD CLASS customer experience;
  • Communicate additional service needs based on vehicle assessments;
  • Clarify completed work and associated charges to customers;
  • Review customer satisfaction feedback with the Service Manager;
  • Ensure final invoices align with the work performed;
  • Keep customers informed about service specials, estimated completion times, and service costs;
  • Prepare repair orders, obtain necessary approvals, and enter information into the service database;
  • Develop cost estimates by calculating materials, supplies, and labor, including customer payments and deductibles.
Qualifications:
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Excellent communication abilities with customers;
  • Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) focused;
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment;
  • Automotive knowledge or dealership experience is advantageous but not mandatory - we are willing to train the right candidate;
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting;
  • Organized and approachable demeanor;
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening;
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers;
  • Demonstrated computer literacy;
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • Team-oriented attitude;
  • Proven track record of service and sales success.
