As part of the Federal Reserve System's National Business Line, it is customary to advertise FRFS positions across all twelve Districts, ensuring transparency and equitable opportunities for all employees within the Federal Reserve System. Selected internal candidates will maintain their current employment status while transitioning to FRFS.
The FRFS Employee Experience function is excited to offer an opportunity within the People Data and Systems team for a Senior Business Systems Analyst. This role involves reporting to the Head of the People Data and Systems Team and will be crucial in delivering solutions that enhance value, increase capacity, and streamline cross-district processes for our people leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an advanced understanding of the evolving technology landscape to provide informed recommendations and develop technological solutions that meet the needs of the FRFS Employee Experience.
- Support the Communications and Culture team by consulting on solutions for enterprise-wide virtual meetings and initiatives that promote communication and cultural adoption across a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Oversee the management of the SharePoint site collection for the FRFS Intranet and Employee Experience sites, ensuring appropriate security measures are in place.
- Build and maintain trust-based partnerships with FRFS leaders and cross-district Reserve Bank partners, working collaboratively to analyze business opportunities and devise solutions for workforce challenges.
- Provide expertise in business processes and systems as part of project teams, collaborating closely with the People Data and Systems and Business Partner teams.
- Support end users in utilizing email lists, Active Directory Groups, and Employee Experience technological solutions.
- Proactively diagnose and address business area challenges in coordination with the FRFS Employee Experience team, anticipating client needs through personal rapport.
- Advise client groups on best practices and necessary changes to meet business requirements.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and present outcomes to senior management in both written and verbal formats.
- Conduct maintenance and installation of software programs, providing technical support and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Develop and revise procedures, define processes, and deliver training for users.
- Act as a liaison for business application enhancements and software updates, ensuring efficient operations.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff.
- May require occasional travel.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; a degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of analytical experience in business systems applications or information technology environments, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and database management systems.
- Experience managing SharePoint sites, including security administration, and developing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate is required.
