The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth development, program management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the CLC afterschool program, including program planning, staff supervision, and risk management.
- Develop and implement program lessons and activities that promote academic and social development of youth.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure program alignment with school goals and initiatives.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure program compliance with state and local regulations, as well as Henrico Education Foundation policies and procedures.
- Meet the requirements of Program Director as detailed in the Virginia Regulations for Licensed Child Day Centers.
- Management experience, including hiring and training.
- Experience working with students and in a licensed child care facility.
- Behavior management experience and ability to train others on tactics and strategies.
- Excellent relationship builder and dependable team player.
- Salary Range: $44k - $46k.
