We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Water Sector team at Stantec. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing projects related to water and wastewater treatment plants, including electrical systems, control systems, and power generation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering design tasks on assigned projects, including electrical drawings, reports, and technical calculations.
- Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all project sizes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Perform on technically complex projects and may act as a technical resource to other team members.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of ten years of related work experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Professional Engineer (PE) is a preferred, but licensed engineer in training (EIT) with plans to pursue a professional engineer (PE) license will be considered.
