Salary Range: $57,100 annually

Position Overview

The Lead Operations Analyst - WM is tasked with delivering service and support to the bank's wealth management sector. Key responsibilities include the prompt and precise processing and accounting of client transactions related to Wealth Management Operations Teams. The Lead Operations Analyst - WM will possess a robust understanding of various WM Operations core teams' essential functions and serve as a liaison between WM Operations and the wealth management sector. This role will spearhead process enhancements and automation initiatives for the WM Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proposes and executes process modifications to enhance services and systems, acting as a catalyst for system workflow and automation.
  • Directs team projects and initiatives; collaborates with multiple areas of WM to pinpoint process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of Trust Accounting systems and data flow.
  • Analyzes and interprets intricate documents related to client information, demonstrating a general understanding of various fiduciary account types currently under management.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of different security types, including their trading, settlement, and treatment for tax and performance reporting.
  • Executes complex account and security maintenance and transaction requests pertinent to core/critical team functions.
  • In a senior capacity, serves as a role model and is expected to provide developmental and educational training to the WM Operations team.
  • The position may require occasional travel for training and team meetings, with a willingness to travel periodically as necessary.
  • May necessitate work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in trust operations/accounting within the Trust or Wealth Management Operations.
  • Preferred: Advanced industry training and/or certifications such as CSOP, CTFA, CTOP, or CFIRS.
