Job Summary

At Kyyba, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting periodic product audits and inspections to ensure compliance with AS9100 Standard.
  • Support system and process audits, including supplier certification and internal system audits.
  • Investigate and resolve quality problems in collaboration with the Quality Engineer area.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by accurately and detailedly recording ERP System/product transactions.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system for inspection records of manufactured products.
  • Update customer specification criteria as directed.
  • Ensure all necessary inspection records accompany shipments, including detailed documentation for products requiring Source Inspections.
  • Support the team in coordinating calibration of measurement equipment, if required.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Engineers and Manager as needed.
  • Adhere to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AS9100 Aerospace Standard is a plus, with other related quality system standards (e.g., TS16949) highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in First Article documentation and preparation (AS9102).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments (Caliper's, Micrometer's, Optical Comparator's, Faro Arm CMM is a plus, Pin Gauges, Drop Gauge, etc).
  • Ability to operate inspection/lab test equipment (such as OGP, hardness tester, etc).
  • Computer skills including spreadsheet, word processing, and database management software.
  • Data analysis skills and problem-solving skills consistent with 8-Discipline technique.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Background in RF and or Electrical field is preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of mathematical concepts.
  • Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work and ability to lift and carry 20 pounds frequently.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma with additional technical courses, CQT or CMI preferred.
  • Minimum 5 year Quality Inspector experience in manufacturing and minimum of 2 years of Quality Technician Experience.
