Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate individuals' receptive and expressive speech and language capabilities, swallowing abilities, and social communication skills.
- Develop, adapt, and implement individualized and group therapy programs aimed at improving communication and addressing swallowing challenges.
- Provide direct speech, language, and dysphagia management services, including training for the use of assistive communication devices and techniques.
- Facilitate in-service training for staff on effective speech-language protocols and therapies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to contribute professional insights and assist in treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports using specialized software.
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Counsel families and guardians regarding speech-language and swallowing concerns.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid license as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Ohio as per the relevant regulations.
